Night Auditor

Constance Halaveli, a luxury resort in the Maldives, is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team. As a Night Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our resort during night hours, overseeing financial transactions, and providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

• Perform end-of-day accounting procedures, including balancing accounts and verifying financial transactions
• Generate and analyse daily reports to ensure accuracy of financial records
• Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, and inquiries during night hours
• Resolve guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally
• Coordinate with other departments to address any operational issues that arise during the night shift
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and safety regulations
• Assist in training new staff members on night audit procedures
• Maintain a clean and organised front desk area
• Support other front office operations as needed

Qualifications

• Proficiency in hotel management software and basic computer skills (MS Office suite)
• Strong mathematical and accounting skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Problem-solving abilities and capacity to work independently
• Previous experience in hotel night audit or similar role preferred
• Experience in the hospitality industry is advantageous
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Accounting, or related field preferred; High school diploma or equivalent required
• Knowledge of hotel operations and accounting procedures
• Understanding of hospitality industry standards and practices
• Ability to work night shifts and weekends
• Willingness to work and live in the Maldives
