Summary:
Revive Rx Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician specializing in Non-Sterile Compounding to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment, contributing to the preparation and compounding of customized medications. You will play a key role in maintaining quality standards and ensuring the safe handling and preparation of non-sterile compounded products under the supervision of our experienced pharmacists.
*Weekend and late-night work may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
· Accurately compound non-sterile medications according to detailed formulas and specifications.
· Maintain compliance with USP 795 regulations for non-sterile compounding.
· Safely handle and maintain compounding equipment, ensuring all materials are stored and used appropriately.
· Monitor and manage inventory of chemicals and supplies required for non-sterile compounding.
· Demonstrate consistent attendance and punctuality to support operational needs.
· Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
· Uphold high standards of quality in all compounding activities, regularly reviewing processes for potential improvements.
· Gain familiarity with compounding procedures and products used in various pharmacy departments.
· Perform additional duties as needed to support pharmacy operations.
Qualifications:
· Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
· Licensing: Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
· Professional Development: Commitment to ongoing Pharmacy Continuing Education.
Experience:
· Minimum of one year of experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting, with experience in non-sterile compounding preferred.
· Skills and Abilities:
· Proficiency in using internet, email, word processing, and spreadsheet software.
· Familiarity with pharmacy management software and a willingness to undergo ongoing training.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures.
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
· Capacity to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
· Close vision and focus adjustment capabilities are required.
Work Schedule:
· Full-time Shift
· 2:00pm to 11:00pm
· Weekend and late-night work may be required.
