As the part-time Office Manager, you will manage the day-to-day operations of our Austin office, ensuring the workplace runs smoothly, efficiently, and provides a positive experience for employees and visitors. You’ll serve as a key onsite partner to our HR team, while also supporting broader business needs.
This role requires in-office presence on Thursdays, with flexibility to be onsite additional days as needed to support office operations and events.
In this role, you will:
- Manage overall office operations, serving as the primary point of contact for onsite needs in Austin
- Maintain a well-organized, welcoming, and fully functioning office environment
- Oversee office supplies, equipment, and facilities coordination to ensure smooth operations, including managing kitchen and office inventory
- Coordinate team lunches and onsite support for employees in the office on Thursdays
- Partner closely with the HR team to assist with employee experience and operational needs
- Provide cross-functional administrative support to teams such as Finance, Operations, and Leadership as needed
- Coordinate with vendors, building management, and service providers
- Provide light event management support for internal meetings, team gatherings, and in-office activities
Requirements
Your experience
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and adaptable professional with experience supporting office operations or administrative functions in a dynamic environment.
You bring:
- Experience in office management, administrative support, HR operations, or a related role
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a service-oriented mindset
- Proficiency with common workplace tools such as Slack, Google Workspace, and HR or office management systems
- Ability to take ownership and follow through on operational responsibilities
- Must be based in or near Austin, TX and able to work onsite as required
