Responsible for leading and managing all operations at Euroland, which includes planning, organizing, provide necessary training to achieve stated objectives in operations, sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, cleanliness and sanitation.
- Develop strategic objectives and KPIs for the Operations Department and ensure that the Operations Department staff are working towards the achievement of these objectives.
- Review the operating results of the Operations Division and follow-up to ensure that appropriate measures are taken to correct insufficient results.
- Ensure the development of the Operations Division’s budget and maintain approved budget to ensure all employees are working within the assigned budget by setting the required targets and responsibilities.
- Ensure the development and implementation of the Operations Division established policies and procedures and comply with the Euroland’s other policies.
- Maintain awareness of company policies regarding personnel and administer prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules and procedures.
- Provide leadership and strategic direction to the Operations team in order to ensure attainment of short term and long-term business growth and retention objectives of Euroland.
- Direct the development of the annual objectives in partnership with management, specifically advising on realistic forecasts which are based on:
ü Historical data.
ü Market trends.
ü Competitive activity.
ü Promotional strategy.
ü Sales effort.
ü Realistic costs of operating the sales force.
ü Sales promotion plans.
- Direct & streamline the day-to-day operations in terms of quality, standards and meet the expectations of the customers by ensuring that the services provided meet/ exceed customer satisfaction and retention on a daily basis.
- Affirm that all products/goods are received in correct unit count and condition and deliveries are performed in accordance with the company’s receiving policies and procedures.
- Achieve Euroland’s objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility and sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment by effectively managing all internal and external issues related to the restaurants.
- Supervise & develop staff in all areas of managerial and professional development to ensure the implementation of excellent service standards and efficient operations on a continuous basis.
- Oversee the preparation of all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner
- Ensure the implementation of employees’ performance appraisals in compliance with the set Performance management policies at The Company.
- Oversee the allocation of non-food items in stores as required by anticipated business activity, while ensuring proper staffing for all positions (when and as needed) and efficient achievement of labor cost objectives.
- Understand, communicate and comply with all county regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the stores and employees and customers.
- Monitor the store’s marketing, advertising and promotional activities and campaigns.
- Ensure effective and consistent implementation of the marketing strategies
- Ensure compliance with all regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees and guests.
- Ensure excellent standards of workstation cleanliness, personal hygiene, clean uniform, etc.
- Perform ad-hoc and other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Manager.
- Identify manpower requirements and Coordinate with the Human Resources Department on all recruiting activities.
- Conduct annual employee performance appraisals of the Operations Department’s employees.
- Identify the training needs of the Operations Division’s employees to ensure all relevant experience and knowledge is transferred to employees to ensure a highly skilled and high-performance workforce.
- Instruct and lead subordinates through their daily activities and assist in development of their technical skills.
- Provide training session to new and existing Operations Division’s employees on non-food items, personal hygiene etc. on a regular basis.
- Provide Operations Department’s employees with feedback on their performance to enable staff development.
- Manage and submit reports to top management that cover all the Operational activities, which include budget activity, store performance, marketing practices, customer satisfaction, identification of potential problems, forecasts trends, special reports regarding operation of the territory, new products and specifications, as well as competitive activity and recommendations for corrective action on a regular basis.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field would be an advantage.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the same or related field
