Position Summary
Location: Portland, OR
Duration: 10 Weeks (June 8- Aug 14)
Hours: Full-time, 30 to 40 hours per week

The Paid Social Marketing Intern will gain hands-on experience within the Growth Marketing function through involvement in paid social campaign development, campaign execution, reporting, and performance analysis. This role will contribute to the development of a social search strategy across emerging platforms such as Pinterest, TikTok, and Reddit, with a focus on how consumers discover brands through search behavior in social environments. The internship is intended for someone interested in digital marketing, paid media, platform strategy, performance analysis, and cross-channel learning.
What You'll Do
Contribute to the development and execution of paid social campaigns across emerging platforms, including Pinterest, TikTok, and Reddit
Participate in campaign brief development from concept through execution, including creative inputs, ad trafficking coordination, and reporting
Support daily budget monitoring and pacing analysis to help inform campaign optimization
Assist in the analysis of campaign performance across platform reporting, last-click performance, and incremental measurement
Help identify and organize audience, keyword, and creative insights to inform campaign strategy across channels
Participate in building and evaluating test campaigns based on business priorities, roadmap timing, and learning opportunities
Contribute to the development of platform-specific search approaches designed to deliver relevant, context-driven ads based on user search behavior
Support the documentation of campaign learnings, results, and recommendations for ongoing optimization
Attend regular check-ins with the Intern Manager to review priorities, progress, and learning objectives
Participate in cross-functional meetings and learning sessions, as schedules allow, to build understanding of the broader marketing and customer acquisition strategy
Present a final summary of project work, insights, performance results, and recommendations at the conclusion of the internship

What You Bring:
Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, Digital Media, Analytics, or a related field.
Experience: 0-1 years (internship, coursework, or volunteer work in related fields is a plus).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Interest in digital marketing, paid media, social platforms, and customer acquisition
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Comfort working with data, metrics, and reporting
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to learn quickly and apply feedback in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with paid social platforms, digital advertising concepts, or analytics tools is a plus
Familiarity with presentation tools such as PowerPoint or Google Slides is a plus
Openness to learning new tools and technologies, including AI, with an interest in how they can thoughtfully support efficiency, insight, and innovation.
