SASMAR is searching for a skilled and detail-oriented Payroll and Benefits Officer to join our HR/Accounting team working 20-30 hours per week. As a fast-growing pharmaceutical company with operations across Belgium, Malta, Sydney, Hong Kong, Mumbai, London, and Chicago, we specialize in personal care and fertility products, particularly known for our Conceive Plus brand, which reaches customers in over 70 countries through various distribution channels.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing payroll processes and administering employee benefits programs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements, along with a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our employees.
Responsibilities
- Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees across multiple locations.
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and reporting requirements.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits-related matters.
- Maintain accurate payroll and benefits records and documentation.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure payroll integrity and data accuracy.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and benefits regulations.
- Assist with audits and related reports as required.
- Support employees during onboarding related to payroll and benefits.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Prior experience in payroll processing and benefits administration is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Proficient in payroll software and Google Office applications.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
