About Freed
Doctors are overworked, burnt out, and are quitting in masses.
At Freed, we combine clinician love with the latest AI tech and intense execution to create products that make clinicians happier.
Our first product is an AI scribe that automates medical documentation.
Since May of 2023, we have:
Acquired 26,000 paying and loving clinicians
Generated 100,000 patient notes daily and over 3 million monthly
With the backing of Sequoia Capital and other world-class VC’s, we are rapidly expanding our product offering. Patient-facing assistants, patient insights, EHR integrations, and other products are being built and used by thousands of clinicians every day.
We are looking for entrepreneurs. Fast, ambitious, and smart individuals who want to take care of the people who care for our health. Expect intense, clinician-focused, and interesting co-workers who want to win.
With an office in San Francisco, we embrace a hybrid schedule that brings out the best in teamwork and innovation. Our teams come together in person three days a week to collaborate, connect, and have a little fun along the way.
The People Operations Associate helps run and continuously improve the People engine at Freed. This is a high-execution, high-ownership role responsible for onboarding, offboarding, recruiting coordination, office management, People systems, and the day-to-day employee experience.
You will ensure every employee has a seamless experience from Day 1 onward, while building the operational backbone that allows the company to scale efficiently. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and operates with urgency and ownership.
Own onboarding and pre-boarding end-to-end by ensuring all logistics, systems, and manager plans are in place, tracking Day 1, Week 1, and 30/90-day milestones, and flagging risks early.
Run recruiting coordination at a high bar by scheduling interviews, managing candidate experience, and partnering with the Head of People and hiring managers to ensure speed, organization, and strong communication throughout the process.
Drive offboarding execution by managing separation workflows, documentation, and cross-functional coordination with IT, Finance, and managers.
Operate and improve People systems by maintaining data accuracy across tools (Gusto, Windmill, etc.), supporting payroll and benefits, and identifying opportunities to streamline workflows.
Manage the SF office and employee experience by overseeing office operations, vendors, events, and ensuring a high-quality in-office and remote experience.
Support People analytics and reporting by maintaining dashboards (headcount, attrition, onboarding progress), tracking operational metrics, and contributing to monthly People recaps.
Lead end-to-end planning of team and company off-sites and created meaningful employee experiences through recognition programs, key milestones, and surprise & delight initiatives
You know how to effectively prioritize, but are also adaptable and flexible- you are excited to work in an environment that is constantly evolving.
You like to move quickly and are constantly looking for ways to automate processes and tasks.
You are an excellent communicator, regardless of channel (written & verbal) or group (internal or external).
