As a Pharmacy Technician you will work with Operations and Product leaders to provide and elevate pharmaceutical care for our customers.
In this role you will be responsible for assisting in the retrieval, processing, and fulfillment of pets’ medication therapies. You will also be actively involved in the development and evolution of our operational policies and procedures that guide these core functions. Your expertise and experience will assist in shaping the best practices that drive world class customer experience.

Core Responsibilities
Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsAssist pharmacist in retrieving prescription refills from veterinarian prescribersFollow up with patients as needed to clarify questions relating to and provide updates on their ordersPerform data entry of valid prescriptionsAssist pharmacist in filling prescription items, as permitted by the state board of pharmacyRun automated machinery required to pre-sort and package medicationsFill exception trays with appropriate medicationWork daily with the Operations team to ensure the right medications are put in the right pouchesTransition orders through different workflow stages from initial dispense through quality controlCount and fill prescription vials and affix labels on bulk prescription itemsPack and ship completed orders including printing and affixing appropriate labels on dispenser, shipping boxesSort and triage the right boxes to ship at the right timeAid the Operations team with receiving, shipping, counting, and packingClean, and help maintain, equipment and work areas

Requirements
Active and unrestricted in-state Board of Pharmacy License (This includes Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Trainee)High school diploma or equivalent6+ months of experience working with computer and web based tools
