Job Description

You will build the visual and computational interfaces that allow materials scientists to harness state-of-the-art AI. Working at the intersection of UX and engineering, you will lead the development of data-intensive web applications, translating complex scientific datasets into intuitive, high-performance tools that accelerate the discovery of sustainable materials.

What you will do:

• Design and build complex, data-intensive visual interfaces using React, TypeScript, and Next.js.

• Develop a computational orchestration layer connecting frontend experiences with distributed ML workflows.

• Own end-to-end features from discovery to deployment, ensuring performance and design quality.

The ideal candidate:

• Has 3+ years of experience building modern web applications with full-stack TypeScript and React.

• Demonstrates strong UX sensibility and experience with data-intensive or visualization-heavy interfaces.

• Possesses a STEM-oriented mindset with the ability to prototype rapidly while maintaining code quality.
