At Emidat, we are building the first climate-native product management system for building material manufacturers. We aim to decarbonise building materials, making up 11% of global GHG emissions. We collect data from physical production processes, generate a digital product passport with verified environmental data and make it usable along the value chain. In short: One solution to assess, design, buy, sell and manage products - with environmental impact at the core.
With this, we are building the digital infrastructure to make it faster, easier, and more sustainable to build the world around us.

Your mission
Turn Emidat's verified environmental data foundation into the analytics and action layer that makes sustainability performance a daily workflow for manufacturers; not a quarterly compliance report, and not an EPD published only every 5 years. Think of what Bloomberg did for financial data, or what Datadog did for infrastructure observability. Manufacturers have product data, bill of materials, supplier chains, but no tool that makes environmental performance as legible and actionable as revenue or operational efficiency. That's the gap.
Engineers on this team own the full product loop. You don't implement specs handed to you; you're in discovery conversations, forming hypotheses, shipping, and measuring. High autonomy, high accountability.
In the first 6 months, you will
Make environmental data feel like a business dashboard — build the query and visualization layer that lets a sustainability manager slice their entire product portfolio by environmental impact, material, supplier, or region, without needing an LCA expert in the room.
Ship collaboration features that empower product managers, sustainability managers, and suppliers to work together on the Emidat platform.
Build the recommendation engine that tells manufacturers what to do next — not just what their data says, but which action moves the needle most on their environmental performance.
Connect manufacturers to their market — build the intelligence layer that surfaces live signals around them: competitor EPDs, shifting benchmarks, incoming regulations
