Lumana is on a mission to empower organizations by unlocking the value of their visual data — not just record the world, but to actually understand it and extract meaningful insights. Our AI video security platform delivers unmatched visibility and control, helping customers enhance security and safety, streamline operations, and respond instantly when it matters most.
Founded in 2021, we are backed by tier-one Silicon Valley investors with deep team expertise in AI, computer vision, and machine learning. We are one of the fastest-growing video security companies and recently raised the largest Series A within our industry. We’ve built the most intelligent video security solution on the market — one that sees what matters, acts fast, and prevents what used to be inevitable.
At Lumana, teams are small, dynamic, and trusted to lead. We think big, move fast, and execute like owners — because we are. Your impact here won’t be filtered. It will be visible, lasting, and real.
Role Description
Lumana is seeking a results-driven founding Product Manager to anchor product leadership in Israel and sit shoulder‑to‑shoulder with our R&D organization. This role exists to close the gap between product strategy and engineering execution, ensuring what we build is tightly aligned to customer needs, market opportunity, and company direction.
Today, product ownership is distributed and heavily founder‑led. This role will take meaningful ownership of product definition, prioritization, and delivery across multiple product domains—reducing executive load while accelerating product velocity and quality.
This is a hands‑on, high‑impact leadership role for someone who thrives in complexity, makes clear trade‑offs, and treats product success as personal.
Location
Hybrid Onsite - Tel Aviv, Israel \ Hybrid Onsite - Caesarea, Israel
Responsibilities
Our market is proven, competitive, and unforgiving. Product decisions are expensive to reverse, and velocity without clarity creates risk. Having senior product leadership embedded with engineering—rather than operating at a distance—is critical to building the right products, the right way.
Product Leadership & Strategy
Define and own product strategy across assigned domains
Translate company vision into clear, executable product plans
Make high‑judgment prioritization decisions grounded in customer value, technical feasibility, and business impact
Own product outcomes once strategic direction is agreed
Product Execution
Own the full product lifecycle: definition → UX/UI → development → launch → iteration
Write high‑quality PRDs and lead core product rituals
Partner closely with engineering on feasibility, sequencing, and delivery
Drive product releases, timelines, and scope trade‑offs
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Work deeply with UX/UI to shape intuitive, effective user experiences
Partner with Sales and Solutions Engineering to validate use cases and customer pain
Collaborate with Marketing to validate messaging (not own product marketing)
Engage directly with customers to validate direction and gather feedback
Scope of Ownership
Own end‑to‑end product leadership for domains such as:
Parking
Workflow
Control Center
Alarm Management
Take ~80% ownership of product decisions within defined domains
Escalate strategic questions around which products to build
Reduce executive workload by owning multiple product lines simultaneously
Other duties may be assigned
Requirements
Must Have
5–10 years of product management experience
Director‑level maturity (no manager‑level scope)
Proven ability to work directly with technical founders and R&D teams
Strong systems thinker who simplifies complexity and makes sound trade‑offs
Deep experience writing PRDs and running product rituals
Hands‑on builder mentality—not just a delegator
High bias for action and urgency
Exceptional clarity, storytelling, and communication skills
Zero ego; highly collaborative and coachable
User‑obsessed with a track record of customer‑loved products
Thrives in ambiguity and fast‑moving environments
Strong engineering fluency (without trying to be the engineer)
Ability to challenge feasibility and assumptions without dictating solutions
Clear understanding of ROI, cost, and value trade‑offs
Ownership mindset—acts like the product is their business
Nice to Have
Experience in AI, computer vision, or machine learning
Background in video technology, physical security, or camera ecosystems
Exposure to high‑scale distributed systems
Early‑stage startup product experience
First 90 Days
Deeply learn the product and existing foundations
Take ownership of at least one full product area end‑to‑end
Lead prioritization with R&D and plan upcoming releases
Establish strong working rhythm with engineering and UX
Begin customer engagement to validate direction
Growth Opportunity
This role is designed to scale. As the company grows, there is potential to expand product management coverage—including hiring additional product leaders across domains.
You don’t need to arrive with everything solved—but you do need the drive, judgment, and grit to build something meaningful and make it work.
