As the Product Roadmap and Portfolio Manager, you will own our roadmap management discipline and product portfolio governance. You combine deep expertise in Aha! Roadmaps administration and use with strong portfolio and program management skills. At your core, you are a proactive individual who can independently manage multiple large projects with numerous stakeholders. You are highly approachable, with great communication and organizational skills, as well as a strong drive for successful outcomes and results.
You will drive the cadence for roadmap development, maintain our product master, recommend portfolio rationalization, and lead strategic programs such as product sunset and end-of-life. You will be expected to effectively oversee, but not directly control, multiple outcomes across teams including resources, schedule, and quality of deliverables through the full project life cycle. You are proficient in the areas of portfolio management, process definition, partner management, and resource management.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as the system owner and super-user for Aha! Roadmaps, configuring, optimizing, and ensuring adoption across product management teams
- Develop and maintain standardized reporting and dashboards for product managers and leadership
- Own and update the Product Master (catalog of offerings), including lifecycle status and portfolio rationalization
- Lead cross-functional sunset and end-of-life programs, ensuring smooth execution across Product, Engineering, Customer Advocacy, and Finance
- Establish and manage the roadmap governance cadence, ensuring alignment across business units
- Provide portfolio-level insights to leadership, highlighting risks, dependencies, and opportunities
- Train, guide, and mentor product managers and other stakeholders in roadmap discipline and best practices
What You'll Bring to the Team:
- Bachelor’s degree, with a technology or business emphasis, or equivalent education/experience
- 8+ years in product operations, portfolio management, or program/project management of medium to large scale technical projects
- Demonstrated expertise as an Aha! Roadmaps super-user (or comparable platform like Jira Advanced Roadmaps, Planview)
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and portfolio rationalization
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional programs
- Excellent facilitation, influencing, and executive communication skills
- Analytical and structured thinker, able to drive recommendations into action
- Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills; additional languages a plus
- Ability to work remotely in Poland; option to work hybrid out of the Billtrust Krakow office
