The Senior HR Generalist will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, compliance, and performance management all while driving employee engagement. They will work closely with management to foster a positive work environment and align HR initiatives with business objectives.  

What You'll Do: 

  • Onboarding: Oversee onboarding and conduct new hire orientation to ensure a smooth transition for new employees. 
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a primary contact for employees, working with HR Business Partners (HRBP) as needed to address HR-related queries or concerns. 
  • Compensation & Benefits: Administer payroll and employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations. Field questions about compensation to HRBP and Compensation Team. Assist HRBP with compensation cycles. 
  • Compliance & Legal: Ensure compliance with European labor laws and country-specific regulations, including contracts, working hours, health and safety standards, and termination processes. Stay updated on legislative changes and update policies accordingly. 
  • Training & Development: Assist in the development and coordination of employee training programs and career development initiatives. Support managers in performance management, including goal setting and annual reviews. 
  • Performance Management Support: Assist in coordinating performance reviews and tracking employee progress. Help ensure that managers and employees complete the performance review process on time. 
  • Policy Implementation: Develop and enforce HR policies that align with company values and legal standards. Ensure all policies are communicated effectively to employees and updated as needed. 
  • Data Management & Reporting: Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases. Communicate changes timely to PeopleOps for processing. 
  • Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations. Support employee wellness initiatives and manage occupational health issues. 
  • Employee Engagement Initiatives: Support HR in organizing employee events, wellness programs, and engagement surveys. Assist with tracking employee feedback and making recommendations for improvement based on engagement surveys. 
  • HR Administration: Prepare necessary documentation such as offer letters, contracts, and employee communications. Process immigration paperwork as necessary. 
     

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • 5+ years of experience in human resources or related roles, with exposure to multiple HR functions 
  • Strong understanding of European labor laws and country-specific employment regulations. 
  • Strong understanding of HR management best practices, employee development, and performance management. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage confidential information. 
  • Proficiency in HR systems (HRIS) and data analytics to track performance and inform decision-making. 
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is highly preferred.
