The role
You will be responsible for ensuring that the production timelines from order to delivery are achieved, whilst working collaboratively across a number of departments. You will need the ability to be both hands on and quick to think on your feet when dealing with our network of Suppliers. This is an exciting and pivotal role in the Product Operations team that requires a go-getter with a positive mindset, have initiative, as well as enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
Main responsibilities :
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure on time deliveries and escalation of reporting where required
- Leverage on existing reporting/production tracking tools to provide effective visibility to internal teams
- Track and manage the pre-production to production schedule, diligently updating all time & action calendars, maintaining an organised and accurate production schedule
- Own production updates and actively participate in weekly updates with external and internal teams
- Work closely with design and product development teams to maintain sample tracking process for all development styles
- Serve as the integral link between factories and internal teams, and manage all vendor communication regarding sampling, orders and production
- Communicate with multiple vendors on a daily basis, ensuring deliveries deadlines are met, and assist with vendor issue resolution when necessary
- Manage end-to-end coordination for photoshoot samples, including follow-up on requests, invoice validation and efficient handover communications with HQ Teams
- Maintain strong working relationships with vendors
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- 2+ years of experience working in production, fast-fashion or e-commerce environment highly desirable but not a must
- Excellent English & Chinese (writing and speaking) skills.
- Ability to be diplomatic yet firm with suppliers
- Experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders or are a natural excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Diploma or Professional Degree in related field
You Should Have
- Bilingual in English and Chinese (Spoken & Written)
- Self-motivated to deliver results, keeping a curious, proactive and innovative mindset
- A good sense of timeline coordination and scheduling
- Ownership of task with a mission-focused approach
- Strong attention to details
- High learning agility
- Comfortable working with data, reporting information tools and technologies to simplify production tracking processes
- Great at maintaining multitasking and execution abilities under tight deadlines
- To embrace change, manage change with a positive outlook and taking business needs as a priority
- Actively promoting effective communication to facilitate and drive resolution with internal and external stakeholders
- A passion for fashion is a must, interest in sustainability is a plus
