We are a fast-growing healthcare technology company operating across telemedicine, e-commerce, and pharmacy. We are seeking an experienced, execution-oriented Project Manager to support new product launches, product changes, upgrades, and cross-functional initiatives across the business.
This role is based out of our Elmhurst compounding pharmacy and reports directly to the COO. The Project Manager will serve as the central point of coordination for projects and initiatives that cross the COO’s desk - capturing work, defining scope, tracking dependencies, and driving execution to completion across multiple departments.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, decisive, and comfortable operating with autonomy. They bring a proven project management approach, including a preferred platform or system they have successfully used to manage day-to-day execution while also delivering concise, executive-level updates to leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary intake point for projects, initiatives, and workstreams originating from or escalated to the COOCapture project objectives, requirements, stakeholders, timelines, and dependenciesTranslate high-level direction into structured, actionable project plansProduct Releases & Changes
Coordinate new product launches, product changes, upgrades, and enhancements across pharmacy, operations, regulatory, legal, marketing, engineering, and customer supportEnsure alignment with regulatory requirements, operational readiness, and business prioritiesTrack execution through launch and post-launch follow-upProject Planning & Day-to-Day Execution
Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, task ownership, and timelinesActively manage day-to-day progress, unblock teams, and hold stakeholders accountable for deliverablesProactively identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks, escalating as appropriateCross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with leaders and contributors across departments to ensure alignment and clarity of responsibilitiesFacilitate effective communication between teams with competing prioritiesEnsure projects move forward without relying on constant executive interventionExecutive-Level Reporting & Communication
Provide concise, structured status updates to the COO and executive leadershipDistill complex projects into clear summaries highlighting progress, risks, decisions needed, and next stepsMaintain visibility into overall project health across the portfolioProject Management Tools & Systems
Utilize a project management platform of choice that you have successfully used in prior rolesEstablish consistent workflows for tracking tasks, timelines, dependencies, and ownershipEnsure tools are practical, adopted by stakeholders, and drive accountability rather than overheadQualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field5+ years of project management experience, preferably in healthcare, pharmacy, e-commerce, or technology-driven environmentsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple complex, cross-functional projects simultaneouslyExperience working directly with senior leadership and translating executive direction into executionStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsComfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with minimal hand-holdingExperience implementing or operating within a project management system that drives accountability and resultsWhat Success Looks Like
