NELOGIS provides a Property Accountability Specialist supporting the Program Manager in managing the logistics and property management support services, including accountability, visibility, inventory management, causative research, documentation, reporting, and coordination activities necessary to support US NAVY’s Property Management Program. All services shall be performed in accordance with applicable directives, instructions, and business rules. The Program Manager is responsible for managing all contract deliverables, personnel, training and maintaining professional standards of accountability, quality, and effectiveness.
- Possess the knowledge and skills required to account for all property at a given installation.
- Provide supervision for the NELOGIS-employees working property accountability.
- Coaching and mentoring employees ensuring that work is scheduled properly to obtain maximum use of resources.
- Ensuring that accurate and timely reports are provided to the PM
- Execute cost-saving factors and quality controls to ensure work is performed as scheduled and at a fair and reasonable cost.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen currently residing in the US.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of military or civilian documented experience working in property accountability.
- Demonstrated experience in a logistics assignment including warehouse operations, organization property accountability, shipboard property accountability, or other.
- Relevant experience within the last 5 years.
- Knowledgeable in the following areas: Property Accountability Procedures, Maintaining Inventories, Causative and Technical Research, Discrepancy Reporting, Cataloging and File Maintenance, Property Record Documentation, Root Cause Analysis, Property Action Requests (PARS) and Surveys and Code Asset Storage Program Management.
- (Preferred) Prior service in the US Navy in property accountability
- (Preferred) Current Secret Clearance or the ability to get a security clearance

Position is Full Time Positions (40 hrs per week).
