We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer specializing in solution testing to ensure the reliability, performance, and quality of complex technology solutions delivered to clients across global markets. This role involves defining robust testing strategies, executing comprehensive validation processes, and leveraging automation frameworks to support seamless deployment of software, cloud-based applications, and integrated systems.

You will play a critical role in defect identification, test optimization, tooling evaluation, and quality documentation—contributing directly to risk mitigation, product stability, and delivery confidence.

- Own and execute test strategies for high-impact solution deployments
- Design, build, and maintain automation suites for regression and performance testing
- Lead defect triage, root-cause analysis, and quality improvement initiatives
- Produce detailed test plans, cases, reports, and quality metrics dashboards
- Evaluate and recommend new testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies
- Collaborate within Agile and CI/CD environments to enforce quality gates
- Track defect trends and quality KPIs to drive continuous improvement
- Promote organization-wide quality standards through audits, training, and process enhancements
Key Responsibilities
Test Strategy & Planning
- Analyze functional requirements, user stories, and technical designs to create scalable test plans, scenarios, and datasets
- Design end-to-end testing approaches covering unit, integration, system, UAT, and exploratory testing
- Apply risk-based testing techniques, coverage matrices, and shift-left testing principles
- Provide consultative input on QA best practices aligned with business and delivery goals
Test Execution & Validation
- Execute manual and automated tests across web, mobile, API, and cloud environments
- Validate functional workflows, edge cases, and non-functional aspects such as performance, security, and usability
- Identify, reproduce, and debug defects across code, configurations, and integrations
- Perform cross-browser, cross-device, and compatibility testing
Automation & Tooling
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Postman, or RestAssured
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
- Implement data-driven and BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, SpecFlow) for scalable automation
- Evaluate emerging automation, AI-driven testing tools, and plugins to enhance coverage and efficiency
Defect Management & Reporting
- Manage the complete defect lifecycle using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms
- Conduct impact analysis, prioritization, verification, and closure of defects
- Generate quality dashboards and reports covering metrics such as defect density, test coverage, and escape rates
- Lead root-cause analysis sessions and post-release reviews
Documentation & Quality Enablement
- Create and maintain QA artifacts including test cases, traceability matrices, and quality guidelines
- Collaborate with product and development teams to embed quality insights early in the lifecycle
- Contribute to internal documentation, case studies, or knowledge-sharing initiatives on QA practices
Process Improvement & Innovation
- Monitor QA trends, tools, and emerging technologies (AI/ML testing, containerized environments, etc.)
- Evaluate standards and frameworks (e.g., ISTQB, ISO 25010) and recommend process improvements
- Drive continuous optimization of testing workflows and methodologies
Collaboration, Training & Compliance
- Partner with development, DevOps, and delivery teams within Agile environments
- Train team members on QA tools, frameworks, and best practices
- Support audits and compliance initiatives aligned with quality management standards
Continuous Learning & Metrics
- Stay current with testing tools, certifications, and industry best practices
- Track testing efficiency, defect trends, and quality KPIs to support iterative improvements
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, Selenium Automation, DevOps, Cloud) are a strong plus
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, solution testing, or software validation
- Hands-on experience with test planning, automation, defect management, and Agile delivery
Technical & Functional Skills
- Strong expertise in manual and automated testing tools and frameworks
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Java for automation
- Proficiency in API testing, database validation (SQL/NoSQL), and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter)
- Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., TestRail) and collaboration platforms (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
- Advanced documentation and reporting skills using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
