Key Responsibilities:
Set the Standard: Design and execute a high-performance recruiting strategy for the New York accounting and finance market — and lead by example every single day.Identify & Place Elite Talent: Source, engage, and place top-tier finance and accounting professionals through precision outreach, deep relationship-building, and strategic talent mapping.Build a Team of Producers: Recruit, coach, and develop a team of high-performers. Raise the floor. Raise the ceiling. Celebrate wins, address gaps with radical honesty.Be the Market Authority: Know the accounting and finance landscape cold — key roles, salary benchmarks, hiring trends — so clients come to you first.Collaborate Relentlessly: Partner with business development to ensure client needs are met with speed, precision, and the best candidate pipelines in the market.Own Your Numbers: Hit revenue targets, track team KPIs, and use data to continually optimize. Qualifications:
A Proven Production Record: 5+ years of recruiting or staffing experience with at least 2 years in a elevated team role. You've been a top biller — and you can prove it.Elite Closer Mentality: A track record of landing high-value placements and exceeding revenue targets. You don't wait for leads — you create them.The Ability to Develop Talent: You know how to identify potential, cultivate it, and build a team culture where people do the best work of their careers.Deep Finance Market Knowledge: You understand accounting and finance roles, compensation expectations, and the specific dynamics of the New York hiring market.Radical Communication Skills: You're direct, credible, and confident at every level — from junior candidates to CFOs and C-suite clients.Data-Driven Discipline: You use ATS/CRM tools and performance metrics not just to report results, but to sharpen your strategy.Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA, CFA, or advanced degree is a plus.Work Schedule: An ability to work on-site at our NYC office 3-days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday; 8:30am-6pm ET)
