Job Responsibilities
Oversees the overall performance of current solutions and operationsDevelops competitive freight solutionsManagement of escalations, Ad-hoc, or ExceptionsResponsible for vendor lead time adherenceBilling/financial reporting (timeliness, accuracy, costing)Actively track and trace shipments and update customers accordingly Collaborate with Freight team members to innovate around constraints & solutionsWork with the Ninja Freight team to ensure customer expectations are well-managedCoordinate Ninja Freight’s air freight shipment handling (air freight operation and coordination, shipment documents) with sales support and customersSupport the Regional Manager in sourcing suitable air freight and clearance vendorsSupport the Regional Manager with onboarding and implementation for all vendorsResponsible for providing operational requirements and input before/during vendor onboardingResponsible for monitoring vendor ops performances and key practicesRemain updated on the assigned region’s shipping and customs regulationsResponsible for producing the WI and SOPs to ensure operations scalability and consistency, and equip the team with the right skill set and knowledge to validate vendor invoices.L2 escalations - liaison with management (internal and external)
Job Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics preferredMinimum 2 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding operations or knowledge of Airfreight, Export, and Import ClearanceAbility to analyze numerical and cost data effectivelyStrong multitasking skills and ability to meet deadlines across multiple projectsStrong process mindset with freight forwarding and e-commerce knowledgeProven problem-solving skills, creativity, teamwork, and innovationProficiency in Google Office suiteProficiency in fr8LabsFluent in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa MelayuWillingness to travel within Southeast Asia
