The Opportunity
As a Reviewer - Chemistry, you’ll help maintain high standards and ensure our content is accurate, engaging, and aligned to the syllabus for high school students.
This is a casual role, ideal for students, recent graduates, teachers, or tutors with strong experience in the relevant subject. For the first few months, you’ll be required to work your hours within standard 9 to 5 to complete training, after which there is more flexibility in scheduling.
A deep understanding of VCE Chemisty is essential, whether you studied it at school, tutored it, or have experience teaching it.
What You'll Do
Review, edit and proofread scripts, quizzes and lessons to ensure clarity, accuracy and syllabus alignmentGive clear, constructive feedback that helps content creators improve and keeps quality highApply the Atomi style guide so content is consistent, accessible and on brandCollaborate with content creators and video designers to shape engaging final lessonsWork alongside the production team to deliver content on time and to a high standardStay across subject knowledge and evidence-based teaching practices to keep content current and effectiveManage multiple pieces of work at once and meet agreed deadlines
What You'll Bring to Atomi
Strong subject knowledge, especially VCE Chemistry, either as a student, teacher, or tutorStrong writing and editing experience, with the ability to explain changes clearly and respectfullyA sharp editorial eye and genuine care for quality and accuracyExperience reviewing or improving educational content, curriculum materials or similar written workConfidence giving feedback that supports others’ growth as writersA strong grasp of high school science contentCopyediting or content review experience, which is helpful but not essentialHighly desired: specific knowledge of the VCE Chemistry curriculum
