SAP BTP - FIORI + ABAP

Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned SAP BTP + UI5/Fiori Consultant with over 9 years of experience in SAP development and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM), SAP UI5, and Fiori application development, including integration with SAP S/4HANA. Proficiency in SAP ABAP as a secondary skill is also required to support end-to-end development and integration needs. This role requires both deep technical expertise and the ability to collaborate with business and functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. 

Must have skills:

• ABAP on S4 HANA with OData and CDS
• Clean core principles

Good to have:

• BAS
• Git hub
• Understanding of Functional Designs to prepare Technical Designs
• Understanding of security role concepts to work with SAP security

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, and deploy applications using SAP BTP services, UI5, and Fiori.
• Create custom Fiori apps using SAPUI5 and enhance standard Fiori applications as needed.
• Develop and maintain OData services and integrate them with backend SAP systems.
• Work with SAP BTP components such as Business Application Studio and RAP.
• Ensure responsive UI design and performance optimization of Fiori/UI5 applications.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Implement SAP Launchpad services and manage catalogs, groups, and tiles.
• Integrate cloud applications and services using REST APIs, destinations, and SAP Connectivity services.
• Develop backend logic using SAP ABAP where needed to support front-end and integration requirements.
• Conduct code reviews, provide technical leadership, and mentor junior developers.
• Ensure compliance with SAP development standards and security guidelines.

Key Skills & Qualifications: 

Technical Skill Set :

• 9+ years of experience in SAP development with a focus on UI5/Fiori and BTP.
• Expertise in SAP UI5, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Strong experience with SAP BTP(RAP) including CAPM
• Proficient in developing and consuming OData services.
• Strong knowledge in SAP ABAP including ABAP Objects, BAPIs, BADIs, and enhancement techniques.
• Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA integration and Fiori design principles.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and DevOps practices for SAP development.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. 
• Exposure to SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) and Fiori Elements.

Project Management & Leadership: 

• Proven track record of leading successful SAP implementation projects from inception to go-live. 

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall. 

• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills to manage cross-functional teams and interact with clients. 

Experience & Education: 

• A minimum of 9 years of experience in SAP with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in SAP BTP - ABAP Development and Integration. 
• SAP Certified in Fiori/UI5 or BTP

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). 

• Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: 

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and resolve complex technical issues. 

• Ability to troubleshoot and debug technical issues within SAP BTP and ABAP environments. 

Additional Preferred Skills: 

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA migrations or upgrades. 

• Experience with cloud technologies and microservices architecture. 

• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira or Confluence.
