SAP Test Automation Lead for POC - TOSCA

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end automation POC for SAP testing using TOSCA.

• Analyze existing SAP manual test cases and identify candidates suitable for automation.

• Design and develop automated test scripts for various SAP modules (e.g., SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SAP Fiori).

• Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to understand business processes and system integration points.

• Configure and maintain the TOSCA automation framework tailored for SAP environments.

• Execute automated test cases, monitor results, and troubleshoot issues.

• Evaluate automation results to demonstrate ROI and effectiveness of TOSCA automation.

• Provide leadership and guidance on automation best practices and governance.

• Document test scenarios, test scripts, defects, and automation results.

• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather feedback and refine automation approach.

• Stay updated with latest trends in SAP test automation tools and methodologies.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience: 5+ years in SAP testing with at least 3 years in test automation.

• Hands-on experience with TOSCA test automation tool, preferably in SAP environments.

• Strong knowledge of SAP modules (e.g., SAP MM, SD, FI, CO, PP, WM) and SAP GUI/Fiori testing.

• Understanding of SAP business processes and integration points.

• Proven ability to design and implement test automation frameworks.

• Experience in identifying test cases suitable for automation.

• Strong scripting and analytical skills.

• Ability to lead POC initiatives and showcase tangible benefits.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Knowledge of defect management and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in TOSCA or SAP testing.

• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA testing challenges and automation strategies.

• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools.

• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and within a team.

• Effective communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Deliverables for POC:

• Detailed POC plan including scope, timelines, and milestones.

• Automated test scripts covering critical SAP business processes.

• Reports demonstrating test execution results and automation ROI.

• Recommendations for scaling automation across SAP testing lifecycle.
