SAP DataSphere

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement data models using SAP DataSphere (formerly SAP Data Warehouse Cloud).

• Integrate data from SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and non-SAP sources.

• Build and manage spaces, data flows, views, and analytic models in DataSphere.

• Develop and optimize SQL views, transformations, and data pipelines.

• Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance optimization.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting and analytics requirements.

• Support testing, deployment, and production issues.

• Work closely with SAP SAC teams to enable reporting and dashboards.

• Follow best practices for security, authorizations, and governance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP DataSphere.

• Good understanding of SAP HANA modeling (Calculation Views, CDS Views).

• Experience with SAP BW / BW/4HANA concepts.

• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.

• Experience integrating non-SAP data sources.

• Knowledge of data warehousing and analytics architecture.

• Familiarity with ETL / ELT concepts.

• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) integration.

Good to Have

• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA data models.

• Knowledge of data governance and security concepts.

• SAP certifications in DataSphere, HANA, or Analytics.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
