What you'll do
Handle transformation projects across finance and accountingContribute to the overall continuous improvement of the Company’s accounting practices, policies and proceduresIdentify savings opportunities based on financial data to improve Company P&LPrepare accurate accounting entries for multiple entities by compiling and validating reports submitted by other internal teamsAssist in the timely and accurate monthly and annual closing of accounting books and consolidationSubstantiate financial transactions by keeping proper and useful supporting documentsReconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing available informationAssist in the monthly preparation of tax filingsRecommend financial actions by analyzing accounting optionsMaintain financial security by following internal controlsContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededAbility to communicate effectively with a positive attitudeAbility to proactively look for solutions to current issuesAssists in coordinating with other teams in reconciling financial informationAssists in coordinating with external auditors to deliver timely auditsAssists Finance Managers and the Corporate Finance team in day-to-day operations
What we expect from you
College graduate, bachelor's degree in AccountancyCPA is an advantage3-5 years of relevant experience in the accounting or auditing fieldExperience in owning, maintaining, closing, and auditing books of accountsPractical accounting/auditing experience in a financial institution is preferredBig 4 experience is a plus
Knowledge and Skill Set
Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skillsGood communication and organizational skillsTeam playerProficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applicationsProficient in accounting standards and principlesProven integrity in dealing with internal and external contracts and in implementing company data privacyAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentKnowledgeable in digital currencies or financial institutions a plus
