What You'll do:
We are looking for a Senior Automation QA Engineer who will take end-to-end ownership of QA automation within the Solutions team. This role is responsible for defining automation strategy, building automation solutions from scratch, and scaling automation practices across products, clients, and teams.
You will combine hands-on technical work with strategic decision-making, ensuring automation delivers real business value. Over time, you will play a key role in building and mentoring an Automation QA team and establishing standards that scale with the organization.
Operational Responsibilities
Designing, implementing, and maintaining a completely new automated testing frameworkSelecting tools, technologies, and best practices for automated testingOwning automation code and QA standards, ensuring scalability and sustainabilityAnalyzing test results and continuously improving product qualityIdentifying opportunities to enhance QA processes and test coverageIntegrating automation tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensuring their scalability and reliabilityParticipating in technical interviews and candidate assessmentsMentoring and onboarding new Automation QA team members
Strategic Ownership of Automation Strategy
Assessing the feasibility and ROI of automation per projectDefining scope and priorities for automation initiativesPlanning implementation and scaling of automation solutionsAligning automation approaches with business goals and client needs
Long-Term Ownership
Leading and developing the Automation QA team, including both local and remote team membersTaking long-term responsibility for establishing, applying, scaling, and continuously improving automation standards across multiple clients and projects
Required Skills and Experience
5+ years of experience in automation testingProven experience building automation frameworks from scratchAbility to make independent technical and strategic decisions related to automationStrong knowledge of at least one programming language (Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python)Experience with:Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber, and/or Cypress
CI/CD integration of automated tests
API testing (Postman or similar)
Test management tools (Jira, Xray, or similar)
Git
Ability to adapt QA and automation strategies to different products, technologies, and teamsExperience in leading, mentoring, and onboarding new Automation QA team membersStrong communication skills and advanced English proficiencyPreferred / Bonus
