We are looking for a Senior Clinical Insights Specialist who will be responsible for the creation of content and delivery of custom analytics using Atropos Health's proprietary tool stack. The Senior Clinical Insights Specialist will be responsible for working with internal and external stakeholders to build real-world evidence to support clinical and commercial decisions. To excel at this role, a candidate should be an MD, PA, NP, clinical nurse, or other healthcare professional with substantial experience treating patients and understanding the patient journey (active practice or licensure not required), and must have experience in the design and execution of observational studies utilizing common medical ontologies (e.g. ICD10, CPT, LOINC). The Senior Clinical Insights Specialist will NOT be providing medical advice/services, but rather serving as a human-technology interface.
Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, address hypotheses across various disease and treatment areas, leveraging the Atropos platform
Run custom analytics using Atropos Health's proprietary technology stack + industry standard tools and analysis packages.
The type of questions received ranges from comparative effectiveness (eg, " what is the effectiveness of CGRP antagonists vs. topiramate in preventing migraine-related ED visits") to research design questions eg ( "what inclusion/exclusion criteria and outcomes should be included in a Crohn's disease trial on a new interleukin inhibitor").
Present or co-present collaborative work at conferences, and author articles within peer-reviewed journals
Own end-to-end hypothesis generation and study generation across multiple health care domains
MD, PA, NP, clinical nurse, or other healthcare professional with at least 3+ years treating patients within a healthcare system
Deep understanding of patient care pathways and clinical decision-making processes
Knowledge of clinical terminology standards (ICD, CPT, SNOMED, LOINC, etc) and their application in clinical practice
Track record of producing published work (peer-reviewed manuscripts or poster/podium presentations)
High degree of critical thinking and independent problem-solving
Ability to work with a team of highly skilled experts
Strong written and oral communication skills
Fluent in oral and written English
You must be able to work within standard business hours within US time (Any US time zone is okay)
Familiarity with manipulating and analyzing data in SQL, Python, or R
