Our EMEA Energy team, with 60 professionals across Europe, is at the forefront of the transformation of energy markets. We advise governments, regulators, energy companies, financial investors, and legal counsels on issues spanning:

- Energy transition strategies, climate policy, carbon markets, and decarbonisation pathways

Our work combines cutting-edge economic research, deep energy sector expertise with applied market and financial modelling to help clients navigate the rapid transformation of energy systems.
Due to expansion of our Energy practice in the German-speaking region, we are currently looking for a Senior Consultant with a number of years of professional experience in energy consulting.
You will work on both quantitative modelling and regulatory issues across the DACH region, and projects all over Europe. You can be located in any of our European offices (i.e. Berlin, Düsseldorf, Brussels, Paris, London, Madrid and Helsinki) and will regularly work with colleagues in other offices.
Typical duties will include:
Quantitative analysis in Excel inter alia using our energy-specific models and using our energy system modelling platformsOversee the day-to-day running of the project and client contact on all mattersActive participation in client meetings and conference callsMonitoring project progressExtensive mentoring and supervising of junior staff
Experience and Skills Required:
4 to 6 years of relevant professional experience in energy consultingMaster’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Finance or Statistics Fluency in German and English languages (both spoken and written) Other European languages (particularly French) are desirableAdvanced Excel, PowerPoint and Word skillsWorking knowledge of statistical packages (R, Stata) or programming languages (VBA, Python, etc.) is a bonusCommitment to high-quality and accurate workExperience of managing and training junior team members.Strong solution orientation and analytical skillsGood organisational skills and ability to prioritizeAbility to communicate effectively with colleagues and clientsAbility to work effectively in a collaborative environment
