Ecocem is Europe’s leading low-carbon cement company. It has more than 25 years of commercial experience producing over 22 million tonnes of low carbon materials which have been used in major projects such as the Grand Paris Express, the Paris Olympic infrastructure, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and Dublin’s Aviva Stadium. The company is poised for significant growth ahead of the launch of its groundbreaking ACT technology in late 2026. The result of over 10 years of research and innovation, ACT contains up to 70% less CO2 than traditional cement and is globally scalable.
In preparation for this exciting growth trajectory, the company is looking to appoint an experienced Digital Marketing and Social Media Manager to significantly expand the brand’s digital footprint and bring its story to new audiences globally. The Senior Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager is responsible for building a best-in-class digital marketing presence for the company and positioning it as a trusted market leader in its sector. This role requires an experienced leader who will expertly and efficiently take the company’s digital presence to the global stage.
The business requires a highly strategic thinker who can also execute with precision and attention to detail. The successful candidate will lead all aspects of digital marketing, ensuring the brand achieves optimal visibility, engagement, and growth across all digital channels. Reporting to the Director of Communications and Brand, the successful candidate will work as part of a small and dynamic Dublin-based team collaborating closely with in-country communications and marketing colleagues as well as external agencies.
Role Responsibilities
Strategy: Devise and implement a global strategy to grow and expand the Company’s digital presence.
Website: Deliver a new, cutting-edge corporate website that positions the Company as a market leader in its sector.
LinkedIn: Expand social media reach, engagement, and influence, with a particular focus on LinkedIn.
Digital share of voice: Increase the Company’s digital share of voice across core business topics and priority audiences.
Brand awareness: Leverage digital channels to rapidly and efficiently build global brand awareness.
SEO and AI: Ensure all digital platforms are fully optimised for SEO and emerging AI-driven search and discovery.
Advertising & sponsorship: Plan and execute digital advertising and sponsorship campaigns to support brand and business objectives.
Copywriting and content creation: Develop high-quality written content that optimises digital performance and brand positioning.
Agency management: Ensuring any agency support is managed effectively to achieve agreed objectives.
