Overview of the Role
A Senior Financial Planning Assistant provides advanced administrative and client service support to the financial planning team. This role requires a highly organized and proactive individual to handle complex financial planning tasks, including report preparation, insurance premium estimates, client interaction, and portfolio management.
This role plays a key part in handling complex financial planning tasks and ensuring smooth operations within the financial planning office.
Main duties include:
- Summarize client details and setup client files and adding client data to the financial planning software
- Prepare product comparison reports which involve digital correspondence with insurance and investment companies to gather specific client portfolio information.
- Prepare portfolio reports and agenda for client meetings
- Preparing application forms and reports presentations.
- Managing prospect database in CRM system
- Submitting application forms, authorities and following up.
- Send meeting reminders, advice documents to clients.
- Organizing and tracking advice recommendation to the review masters.
- Develop and sustain a level of professionalism among staff and client
- Uphold a strict level of confidentiality
- Other tasks as assigned by client or CSM
Requirements
- Graduate of any relevant course, preferably in finance, business, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a financial planning, insurance, or client service role.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prepare accurate financial documents.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism in client interactions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
