We are seeking a highly capable and confident Senior HR Business Partner to support our growing teams across the UK and Ireland.

We’re seeking someone with proven experience in HR data management and compliance, talent acquisition, employee relations, HR projects, and driving employee engagement and company culture.
Main Responsibilities
Business Partnering & Employee Support
- Serve as the HR Business Partner for employees and managers across UKI providing guidance on HR policies, employment practices, performance management, and employee relations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, coaching them on leadership effectiveness, team performance, and people-related decisions.
- Partner with global teams to align local workforce needs with broader HR and organizational strategies.
HR Operations, Payroll & Data
- Generate, analyze, and present HR metrics (e.g., turnover, hiring, performance trends) to inform decision-making.
- Ensure timely and accurate HR reporting to Region on HR related data including headcount, budget etc.
- Payroll: Review and validate UK payroll outputs in partnership with HR and Finance.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Provide hands-on support for employee relations issues (e.g. probation period review meetings, absence meetings etc) ensuring timely, compliant, and people-centric resolutions.
- Advise on UKI employment law and general HR compliance, escalating and collaborating with external counsel as needed.
- Maintain knowledge of evolving local employment regulations and ensure HR processes reflect best practice.
- In partnership with Compliance, monitor and track the CPD requirements for any employees in scope of IDD.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- With support from the Local and Regional HR team take a hands on best practice approach to hiring across the UKI teams, including supporting the hiring managers with role profiles, interviewing, and selection.
- Lead or assist with the onboarding process to ensure a seamless experience for new hires, co-ordinating quarterly Induction days.
Other:
- Partner on DEI initiatives, engagement activities, and communication efforts that strengthen the employee experience.
- Lead and participate in HR projects, ensuring successful delivery within timelines and budget.
- Completing the Know Your Supplier (KYS) process for any external vendors, ensuring compliance standards are adhered too.
- Act as an advocate for local employees while promoting alignment with global values, practices, and programs.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive HR Business Partner experience, ideally in an insurance/financial environment.
- Demonstrated experience across the full employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, HR operations, employee relations, and performance management.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and experience managing employee relations cases (e.g. disciplinary processes; probation review meetings; absence review meetings etc.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail; confident generating and interpreting HR data and HR reporting
- A proactive, self-directed professional who thrives in environments that require ownership, initiative, and adaptability
- High level of comfort working with global teams, matrix structure, and both in-office and remote/hybrid environments
- Experience helping employees navigate change—whether through restructuring, integration, or business growth—while maintaining engagement and clarity
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence, challenge constructively, and drive accountability
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills, professional presence, and the gravitas to partner with senior leaders.
