The Senior Invoice Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing utility and invoice acquisition processes for a broad portfolio of clients. This role applies in-depth knowledge of billing systems and utility operations to ensure timely receipt, accurate processing, and issue resolution for client utility invoices. The specialist serves as a key point of contact for escalations, supports process improvements, and collaborates across teams to enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of client services with minimal oversight, ensuring timely and accurate invoice acquisitionResolve complex invoice discrepancies by liaising with utility providers and internal teamsRecommend and implement improvements to invoice receipt processes and tracking systemsTrain and mentor team members to support overall team development and knowledge sharingMaintain strong relationships with utility providers to streamline communication and resolve recurring issuesSupport the onboarding of new properties by working cross-functionally to ensure invoice readinessEnsure all invoice activities are compliant with tax regulations, accounting standards, and company policiesParticipate in continuous improvement efforts, including documentation of best practices and process updatesAssist leadership with reporting and performance insights related to invoice management
