You will...
- Partner with cross functional teams including Supply Chain, Legal & Finance to define and implement scalable processes & tools within Waabi’s P2P Procure-to-Pay process.
- Ensuring data integrity within Waabi’s PLM & Procurement tools with supplier and material information that is accurate and up to date.
- Standardize and automate Waabi’s Procurement and Inventory processes to strengthen internal controls and streamline end-to-end operational workflows.
- Plan all BOM (Bill of Materials) materials to ensure the right availability of the right product at the right place and time throughout the product lifecycle both in house and with Waabi’s supply partners. Maintaining "Clear-to-Build" (CTB) process of evaluating all input materials against the build plan, identifying shortages, and confirming that all components, specifications, and documents are released for ordering.
- Own Clear-to-Build (CTB) processes and reporting that drives material readiness to meet production planning needs. Develop a material strategy to ensure the optimal level of inventory to balance supply flexibility and cost/risk exposure.
- Proactively identify supply chain risks and mitigation steps to maintain short & long term health throughout the supply chain. Identify and actively communicate risks across all stakeholders and XFN teams to heighten risk awareness and drive solutions. Escalate in a timely manner with the GSM team.
- Optimize supply continuity through rigorous CTB management, synchronizing Engineering Change Requests (ECR) with material revisions to facilitate seamless product phase-ins and phase-outs that limit E&O inventory.
- Collaborate cross functionally with Supply Chain, HW, Commercial and Operation teams to drive supply commits, close shortages and advise the optimal strategy.
- Engage with system developers to build and improve internal systems and tools including but not limited to ERP, PLM, Procurement, Inventory Management & BI tools.
- Issue Purchase Orders in accordance with Waabi Procurement Policies.
- Actively identify and implement process improvements & documentation for the Global Supply Chain Team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor in Business (Supply Chain/Finance/Management) or Industrial Engineering.
- 6+ years of Materials Management / Procurement Experience.
- 6+ years of experience in OEM/JDM/ODM hardware business and prior CM experience.
- Proficient in Google Workspace (formerly Google Suite).
- Expertise in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Inventory Management, Procurement, BI and ERP systems.
- Open-minded and collaborative team player with the willingness to help others.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize large, complex datasets into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Adherence to high ethical standards and integrity.
- Passionate about self-driving technologies, solving hard problems, and creating innovative solutions.
- Able to travel up 10% of the time to Waabi locations.
Bonus/nice to have:
- Experience in the Autonomous or Electric Vehicle Industry.
- People Management Experience.
- MBA or JD.
The US yearly salary range for this role is: $115,000 - $168,000 USD in addition to competitive perks & benefits. Waabi US Inc.’s yearly salary ranges are determined based on several factors in accordance with the Company’s compensation practices. The salary base range is reflective of the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Note: The Company provides additional compensation for employees in this role, including equity incentive awards and an annual performance bonus.
