What will I be doing

Reporting to the CMO, your key responsibilities include:

Brand performance & strategy

  • Owning and growing the Top of Mind (ToM) metric and overall brand performance for DoneDeal Cars.

  • Define the 12-month DoneDeal Cars strategy to win ToM and market share: campaign narratives, target segments and where/when we show up. Back recommendations with data, make explicit trade-offs and reallocate budget to the highest-ROI bets.

  • Set strategy-aligned OKRs; translate them into a sequenced plan of initiatives. Put measurement in place before launch and consistently beat targets.

Brand stewardship & customer insight

  • Demonstrate a brand-guardian mindset; treat the DoneDeal Cars brand as if they own it, protect consistency in design and tone and proactively correct off-brand work.

  • Become and remain an expert in buyer and dealer behaviour. Build personas, run surveys and extract insights that guide communication.

Channels, media and partnerships

  • Manage the Marketing budget to achieve the best value for maximum impact.

  • Own the full media strategy and buying across all channels; select the most impactful inventory and negotiate for value..

  • Lead the influencer strategy: identify the right creators, negotiate deals and ensure alignment with our brand and commercial goals.

  • Oversee performance marketing with the Performance team: set objectives, budgets and guardrails; ensure optimisation for ROI across digital channels.

AI-enabled marketing

  • Act as an AI-native marketer; use AI to accelerate creative development, content, audience building, and optimisation.

Experimentation & measurement

  • Own the test-and-learn agenda - Define hypotheses, success metrics and a reporting cadence; scale what works and share learnings across the team.

Product Marketing

  • Develop impactful go-to-market product strategies with clear audience, messaging and communication plans., ensuring alignment across product and design. Effectively frame how this messaging feeds into a bigger annual marketing plan.

B2B dealership growth

  • Own the annual product update rollout to dealerships: compelling comms, webinars and collateral; segment-specific sequencing; data-backed plans applying lessons learned to maximise impact.

  •  Partner with Sales Leadership on campaigns that drive MQLs.
