Responsibilities include:
· Work with Vendor Managers, In-stock Managers and other team members on expanding selection, improving assortment planning, and optimizing sourcing for selected top fashion vendors
· Work in close connection with the In-stock Management team to test and introduce new tools and processes
· Drive system/process improvements working with technical teams, vendor operations, and inventory management.
· Be the voice of business in front of partner teams including capacity planning, operations, business services etc. to provide annual as well as monthly/weekly plans.
· Prepare and analyze financial metrics and assist with appropriate measures to improve efficiency and growth
· Manage large scale catalogue selection, be solution-oriented & able to integrate strong and clear data analysis and business rationale into sound decision making
· Manage multiple projects – prioritizing, planning and delegating appropriate tasks
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Basic qualifications
· Professional experience in business planning, inventory planning, demand forecasting, and/or product life cycles
· Must have a proven track record in taking ownership, driving results and moving with speed to implement ideas in a fast-paced online environment
· Highly analytical, flexible, action and results oriented, self-starter, comfortable with computer databases and tools
· An effective communicator working with some of Amazon’s most important partners and vendors, as well as with internal teams
· Ability to operate clearly in an ambiguous environment; strong ability to influence
· Possesses strong analytical and numerical skills, advanced Excel user well-versed in Macros, V-Lookups and Pivot Tables
· University degree required, ideally in a technical or analytical discipline
· Experience working with IT professionals
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred qualifications
· MBA is desired.
· Commercial experience in the fashion industry.
· Cross functional experience, especially finance, marketing or supply chain.
