What You’ll Do:
As a Senior Product Designer at Weights & Biases, you will independently lead the end-to-end design of a key product area, translating complex MLOps and AI-practitioner needs into intuitive, high-impact workflows. You’ll use strong design craft and deep contextual understanding of ML workflows to define strategy, solve complex problems, and consistently elevate product quality while partnering closely with Product, Engineering, and practitioners. You’ll articulate clear design rationale, advocate for user needs, and strengthen the team through mentorship and contributions to a high-quality design culture.
This role is focused on Weave, our product for tracking, evaluating, and monitoring LLM-powered applications and agents. You’ll join a highly curious, fast-moving team with deep hands-on experience in the evolving LLM and agent landscape, where agility, experimentation, and technical fluency are essential.
We’re seeking a designer with strong front-end and design skills who can rapidly prototype, build, and ship front-end solutions with a consistently high bar for usability and craft. You’ll advocate for design excellence across the Weave product and serve as a key design partner and resource for the core engineering team.
Who You Are:
- 5+ years of experience as a versatile, senior designer who can own all facets of design, including user research, UX, interaction design, prototyping, and UI design.
- An excellent portfolio showcasing user-centered problem solving through interaction design, visual design, and systems thinking.
- Deep proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
Solid understanding of building usable, accessible, and modular designs that scale. - Experience partnering with Product Managers and Engineers to define strategy and solve complex problems for technical users.
- Hands-on experience designing and building AI applications, with a strong understanding of LLM-based systems, agents, and AI developer workflows.
- Strong front-end skills, with experience using web technologies (such as HTML, CSS, and modern front-end frameworks) to prototype, implement, and iterate on production-quality interfaces.
Preferred:
- Experience working directly in production codebases alongside engineering teams or contributing front-end code to shipped products.

The base pay for this position ranges from $165,000 to $242,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility)

Our Workplace
While we prioritize a hybrid work environment, remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements for specialized skill sets. New hires will be invited to attend onboarding at one of our hubs within their first month. Teams also gather quarterly to support collaboration
