We’re hiring a Senior Product Engineer in NYC to own product surfaces end-to-end — from deeply understanding user pain points to shipping features that meaningfully move metrics.
This is not a “take tickets from a PM” role. You’ll talk directly to customers, form strong opinions about what to build, and then build it yourself. You’ll operate at the intersection of product and engineering, combining user empathy, product judgment, and high-quality code to deliver outcomes.
If you want high ownership, direct customer access, and the opportunity to shape an AI-native product from the ground up, this role is for you.
Own product areas end-to-end: discover problems, design solutions, write code, ship, and measure impact.
Speak regularly with customers (agencies, survey programmers, research ops teams) to deeply understand workflows and pain points.
Make clear product decisions — what to build, what to skip, and what to sunset — based on user signal and business impact.
Build and ship across the full stack (frontend, backend, AI systems).
Contribute to product strategy alongside founders, bringing direct customer insights into roadmap discussions.
Iterate quickly: ship, learn from usage data and feedback, and refine continuously.
3–7 years of software engineering experience with strong full-stack expertise (React, TypeScript, Python, AWS).
Demonstrated product sense — you’ve influenced what gets built, not just how it’s built.
Comfort with ambiguity — you can turn vague pain points into clear, scoped, shipped solutions.
Experience building or working closely with AI/LLM-powered systems (or strong interest and fast learning ability).
Bias toward action — you ship quickly, gather feedback, and iterate rather than over-planning.
Strong curiosity — willing to deeply learn complex domains like market research workflows.
Experience at a Series A–B B2B SaaS startup with high ownership.
Built developer tools, copilots, workflow automation, or productivity software.
Hands-on experience with LLM architectures beyond simple API calls (agents, context engineering, evaluation frameworks).
High ownership: You’ll influence what gets built more than most engineers at companies 10× our size.
Direct customer access: You’ll speak to users weekly — no layers in between.
AI-native product depth: Work on genuinely hard problems in code generation, domain modeling, and workflow automation.
Growth stage leverage: Series A with scaling revenue — your work directly impacts trajectory.
Competitive compensation: Salary + meaningful equity in a high-growth AI startup.
