We are seeking a skilled Bioprocess Engineer to drive the scale-up of microbial fermentation processes. You will lead the transition from bench-top systems to pilot-scale production, optimizing yields and ensuring operational excellence. This role is critical for developing high-impact biological products within a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment focused on deep-tech applications.

What you will do:
Design, execute, and optimize microbial fermentation runs from initial lab-scale testing through to 100L+ pilot-scale operations.
Troubleshoot technical challenges related to sterility, feedstock utilization, and process stability to ensure consistent production quality.
Analyze fermentation data to iterate on process parameters and provide technical insights for downstream integration.
The ideal candidate:
Holds at least 3 years of industrial experience outside of academia specifically focused on microbial fermentation and process scale-up.
Possesses hands-on expertise with a variety of organisms, including yeast, and has managed complex sterility requirements in industrial settings.
Demonstrates a proven track record of operating pilot-scale bioreactors and translating experimental results into robust industrial protocols.
