You will work within a hybrid London team, utilizing Python and FastAPI to deliver high-performance systems. What you will do:
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance APIs using Python (FastAPI), Postgres, and Redis.
Own the end-to-end lifecycle of production services, ensuring high availability and system reliability.
Optimize complex SQL queries and database schemas to support rapidly growing data volumes.
The ideal candidate:
Has 4+ years of professional experience building and maintaining production-grade APIs.
Demonstrates mastery of Python and deep proficiency with relational databases and SQL optimization.
Proven track record of taking ownership over technical projects involving system scaling or performance tuning.
