At voize, we believe the greatest gift to frontline workers is time - time to care, connect, and be present. Today, that time is lost to admin work that pulls nurses away from what matters most: people.
We’re changing that by building the AI companion that frees nurses from admin, giving them back up to 30% of time. We don’t replace humans - we support and amplify their impact. Today, 1,500+ care facilities trust voize, and over 150,000 nurses rely on our AI companion to ease their daily workload.
Our mission is backed with a $50M Series A funding led by Balderton Capital, with support from HV Capital, Y Combinator and other leading VCs.
As a fast-growing team, we combine first-in-class technology with meaningful social impact. And now, we’re looking for you to join us on this mission!
As QAOps / Quality Enablement Engineer, you transform quality from a reactive, manual gate into a fast, trustworthy feedback system owned by engineering squads. By designing and coding shift-left quality mechanisms, you enable teams to make safe, evidence-based decisions early -so every code change ships with confidence, speed, and zero regressions in critical integrations.
Design and build fast feedback loops (tests, pipelines, observability) that give engineers signals in minutes, not hours
Introduce and evolve “Golden Path” test templates (contract, component, integration) that squads can adopt easily
Establish risk-based testing strategies by identifying what must never break and focusing quality effort where it matters most
Enable squads through coaching, documentation, and hands-on pairing to build quality directly into their workflows
Collaborate across Engineering, Support, and external testing partners to close feedback loops and continuously improve release confidence
Strong sociotechnical systems thinking: you see quality as the interaction of people, code, pipelines, and data - not a phase at the end
Hands-on experience building reliable feedback systems (tests, CI/CD pipelines, canaries, observability, evaluation harnesses)
Solid engineering fundamentals, including TDD/BDD, CI/CD, and test strategy patterns like the Testing Pyramid
Practical experience with modern testing tools e.g. Kotest or JUnit or MockK
Sound risk-based judgment and a coaching mindset - you know when a lightweight check is enough and when deeper contract or integration testing is essential
We are a fast-growing startup, that means you will tackle challenges, grow quickly, and make a real impact, giving frontline workers more time for people
We foster an open, collaborative culture with regular team events, whether you work from our Berlin office or remotely across Germany
Become a co-creator of our success with stock options
Generous perks: 30 vacation days plus your birthday off, Germany Transport Ticket, Urban Sports Club, regular company off-sites, and access to learning platforms such as Blinkist and Audible, plus free language courses
You decide when you work best, that means flexible working hours and a good hybrid set-up.
We look forward to your application and can’t wait to meet you - no matter who you are or what background you have!
