Job Description: Cloud Security Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Manager with a strong understanding of AWS cloud environments to lead and strengthen our cloud security posture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security policies, controls, and best practices across our cloud infrastructure. This role requires both deep technical expertise and strong leadership skills to drive cloud security initiatives, ensure compliance, and mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of cloud security strategies, policies, and standards for AWS environments.

Demonstrate strong experience with cloud security tools such as CNAPP, CSPM, CWPP, preferably with platforms like Prisma Cloud and Cortex Cloud.

Design and oversee secure cloud architectures, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory requirements.

Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, enforce least-privilege principles, and maintain secure authentication mechanisms.

Collaborate with DevOps, engineering, and product teams to embed security best practices into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).

Respond to cloud security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective remediation measures.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and frameworks (e.g., SEBI CSCRF, CIS AWS Foundations Benchmark).

Mentor and guide team members, promoting a strong culture of cloud security across the organization.

Lead cloud security projects and initiatives, driving them to successful completion.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

6+ years of experience in information security, with at least 3+ years focused on cloud security.

Strong expertise in AWS cloud security services and architecture.

Experience with container security (EKS, ECS, Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless environments (Lambda).

Hands-on experience with security automation and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, CISSP, CISM, or CCSP are strongly preferred.

Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
