Job Description

You will help build a cloud-based SaaS platform that empowers engineers to utilize state-of-the-art image-based AI. By bridging the gap between machine learning and materials science, you will enable the design of sustainable, high-performance materials. This high-ownership role involves shaping architectural foundations, from backend infrastructure to high-performance visual interfaces.

What you will do:

• Lead the design and delivery of end-to-end features using TypeScript, React, and Python-based ML orchestration.

• Scale cloud infrastructure using AWS, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes to support complex machine learning workflows.

• Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices for well-tested, maintainable code across a data-intensive platform.

The ideal candidate:

• Has 5+ years of experience as a product-focused engineer with strong fundamentals in API design and database modeling.

• Possesses a deep understanding of statically-typed languages and experience deploying systems on modern cloud infrastructure.

• Demonstrates a STEM-oriented mindset with a passion for solving complex, scientific problems through pragmatic engineering.
