The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead multiple engineering teams building core product capabilities.
In this role, you will support, enable, and empower a team of high-performing engineers working on complex product systems. You will partner closely with senior engineers and tech leads who drive technical architecture and day-to-day execution, while focusing on building a strong engineering organization that consistently delivers high-impact results.
This role operates in a flat organizational structure, where the Engineering Manager directly oversees ~20–25 engineers across multiple teams. Success in this role requires strong people leadership, the ability to operate effectively at scale, and the ability to maintain a high performance culture while enabling teams to execute quickly.
What You Will Do:
Lead and manage a group of engineers across multiple teams, directly overseeing ~20–25 engineers while partnering closely with tech leads who drive technical execution.
Coach and mentor engineers through career development, expanded ownership, and growing technical leadership within the organization.
Foster a culture of learning, continuous improvement, and high performance.
Establish strong planning and execution rhythms to ensure teams consistently deliver reliable, scalable, and high-quality systems.
Identify and remove organizational blockers that impact engineering productivity and velocity.
Unlock team productivity through AI tools & processes and pushing to the frontier of coding agents.
Set clear performance expectations and provide direct, actionable feedback to engineers.
Uphold a high engineering bar through thoughtful hiring, performance management, and growth opportunities.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and leadership to align engineering execution with product strategy and company priorities.
Ensure teams remain focused on the highest-impact initiatives across the organization.
What You Will Bring:
10+ years of software engineering experience, including building and shipping production systems.
5+ years of engineering management experience leading and developing engineers.
Experience managing and developing engineering teams.
Demonstrated experience recruiting, building, structuring, and leading technical organizations.
Experience supporting, coaching, mentoring, and developing software engineers.
Strong technical background with the ability to partner effectively with senior engineers.
