About the Role
As Senior Specialist of PR and Communications, you will support the Brand and Communications function on all external and internal communications efforts to help tell a consistent story across RainFocus’ channels. This includes employee communications, media relations, press release development, social media strategy and execution, trend monitoring, and more.
The ideal candidate is strong on the tactical and execution level, and an excellent communicator with confident presentation and organizational skills. This role reports to the Director of Brand and Comms and works closely with the larger marketing team. You’ll have an opportunity to own a variety of projects that expand your current skills and develop new ones in a rapidly growing organization.
Essential Responsibilities:
Support PR activities in collaboration with internal stakeholders and our PR agency Collaborate with our agency team to craft and implement effective, impactful campaigns and programsMonitor trends and make recommendations to adjust the communications strategy and insert RainFocus in relevant conversationsCreate engaging content for RainFocus’ social media channels to drive engagement, increase followers, and reach targeted audiencesLead executive social media programs for select C-suite membersSupport employee advocacy effortsProduce high-quality content that engages external audiences and builds brand recognitionMeasure and report on the performance of our communications efforts, including traditional and social media Manage LLM visibility for the brand
Required Skills and Experience:
3-5 years of experience in communications or public relations, either in-house or with an agency (B2B tech experience is a plus)Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related fieldStrong strategic thinking, problem-solving, technical, and analytical skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in storytelling and creating compelling content for various audiences across earned and owned channels Demonstrated ability to develop and manage relationships with media and influencers Strong understanding of all primary social media platforms Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholdersProven track record of managing projects, from strategy to executionStrong organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to work efficientlyEagerness to monitor trends, competitors, and industry news to inform communications strategyMotivated, confident, and determined professional with great integrity and judgment who meets challenges head-on
