Senior SQL Architect/Consultant

Role & Responsibilities

• Focus on data analytics and visualization platform DB infrastructure.

• Contribute to an application code building and maintenance. Such code usually interacts with a wide variety of internal and external data sources using local database access as well as various source specific APIs.

• Support development of the tools that efficiently handle large data sets.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Experienced SQL (MS SQL, MarisDB) programmer with DB design, optimization and a solid understanding of DB administration.

• Skilled Python programmer with an understanding of an application and/or API development; must have proven record of developing Python code.

• Interest in big data and the processing and analysis of very large data sets

• Minimum 5 years working experience.

• Experience with NoSQL databases, especially MongoDB, is a huge plus.

Additional Information

Education

A minimum of a Bachelor degree in computer science, mathematics or engineering.
