JOB SUMMARY:
As a Senior Staff Technical Program Manager, you will lead media programs, influencing the teams' roadmap priorities and technical direction. This role combines strong technical understanding, program leadership, and agile delivery excellence. You will own end-to-end execution of critical programs, influence roadmap direction, manage cross-team dependencies and senior stakeholders, and mentor teams to raise execution maturity across the organization.
ABOUT THE TEAM:
At JioHotstar, the Technical Program Management team in the media org plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing high-impact programs that define how users discover, engage with, and return to our platform. Working closely with engineering, product, design, and data science teams, we orchestrate cross-functional initiatives. We are relentless in refining execution rhythms, aligning priorities across diverse teams, and proactively managing risks to ensure timely delivery at scale. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and collaborationLead large, complex technical programs from planning through delivery independentlyInfluence roadmap priorities by aligning stakeholders on objectives and outcomesCoordinate across engineering, product, and business teams to manage dependencies and ensure timely executionFacilitate cross-pod collaboration and alignment to maintain delivery momentumProactively plan for and mitigate risks, evaluating alternatives, quantifying trade-offs, and structuring communication plansApply Agile methodologies for iterative delivery, adaptive planning, and continuous improvementCoach teams on Agile best practices and foster high Scrum maturityMaintain sprint cadence and rigor through reviews, retrospectives, and OKR alignmentDrive pod-level accountability for JIRA hygiene, analytics reporting, and milestone trackingEnsure data-driven decision-making using clear metrics, dashboards, and visual progress reportingRegularly communicate program updates, decisions, and risks to leadership concisely and visuallyContinuously improve internal processes to enhance team efficiency and delivery velocityAct as a mentor for junior TPMs and team members to scale program management maturity

PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
A Bachelor's/Master’s degree with a minimum of 12 years of experience, including 3 to 4 years in a Program Management role within the consumer technology sector
