About the Role
The Shift Manager Beverage will have primary responsibility for management of Casino Beverage staff on an assigned shift.
Position Responsibilities
Trains and evaluates team members
Ensures accurate recordkeeping at all times
Interviews applicants according to established personnel policies and procedures.
Implements and adheres to all beverage cost control procedures
Ensures preparation of all drinks and cocktails according to recipes
Keeps beverage Department costs at acceptable levels.
Recommends specialty drink recipes and other merchandising concepts
Adheres to established food and beverage policies, labor relations, liquor laws and Health Department sanitary codes
Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility
Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned
Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Department
Essential Functions
Monitor actions of staff and customers to ensure that health and safety standards and liquor regulations (where applicable) are followed in adherence to state and local guidelines.
Arrange for maintenance and repair of equipment and other services (as needed)
Maintain opening and closing procedures and security standards.
Must be able to read “fine print” areas of invoices and contracts
Must be able lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs
Exposure to casino related environmental factors, including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise and stress related to servicing customers in a fast pace environment
Ability to effectively communicate in English
Ability to work holidays, weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours
Requirements
One to three years’ prior supervisory experience in a high volume outlet/restaurant is required
Demonstrated ability to work in an independent environment with minimum supervision and deliver against set goals.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Reliable with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure

Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $52,000 annually. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including experience and expertise and may vary from the amount listed above.
