Do you live on TikTok, create content people actually stop to watch, and know instinctively what makes something go viral? More.com is looking for a Social Media Assistant with a strong video-first mindset, someone who brings the energy of a micro-influencer to our brand and helps shape our presence across platforms, with TikTok at the center.
If you are organized, creative, and can turn a live event or a trending sound into compelling short-form content, this role is for you.
About the role
As our Social Media Assistant, you will drive the daily social media presence of More.com, with a core focus on TikTok content creation and growth. You will ideate, film, edit, and post. Not just schedule. You will bring your own creative instincts to the table while working within a broader content strategy, and you will represent the More.com voice in a way that feels native, authentic, and engaging.
Beyond TikTok, you will manage our presence across Meta, LinkedIn, and YouTube, working closely with the marketing team and following a clear content plan.
Key responsibilities
• Lead TikTok content creation end-to-end: concept, filming, editing, posting, and trend monitoring
• Bring a micro-influencer mindset to content, with on camera presence, storytelling, and authentic engagement
• Manage daily posting across Meta platforms, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok
• Execute a predefined social media calendar and meet deadlines
• Create native content per platform: static, video, and short-form
• Write short social media copy: captions, descriptions, and CTAs
• Manage comments, messages, and basic community engagement
• Prepare visuals using Canva
• Edit short videos using CapCut or similar tools
• Schedule and publish content using a social media planning tool such as Later
• Monitor basic performance metrics per platform
• Support simple reporting on content and campaign performance
Requirements
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in social media content and community management
• Proven, hands-on TikTok content creation experience. Your own channel or brand work is a strong plus
• Comfortable being on camera and directing others in front of it
• Deep understanding of TikTok trends, formats, sounds, and the creator ecosystem
• Hands-on experience with Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok
• Strong understanding of platform formats and best practices
• Ability to work with a content calendar and meet deadlines
• Basic social media copywriting skills
• Confident use of Canva
• Experience with video editing tools. CapCut preferred
• Familiarity with social media scheduling tools such as Later or similar
• Basic understanding of social media metrics and KPIs
• Ability to prepare simple performance reports
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Nice to have
• An active personal TikTok presence or micro-influencer background
• Experience in entertainment, culture, events, or media
• Understanding of creator monetization, brand collaborations, or influencer marketing
• Experience filming and editing on-location at live events
