Specialist/Consultant Cardiologist

As a Specialist/Consultant Cardiologist, you will be instrumental in providing expert care to patients with cardiovascular diseases. Your proficiency in diagnosing and managing heart-related conditions will enhance patient outcomes and promote overall heart health within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including detailed medical histories and physical examinations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as echocardiograms, stress tests, and electrocardiograms (ECGs).
• Diagnose a wide range of cardiac conditions and formulate appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual patients.
• Provide comprehensive patient education and support, discussing lifestyle changes and treatment options.
• Perform and assist with cardiac interventions and procedures including catheterizations and angioplasties.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to facilitate optimal patient care and treatment outcomes.
• Engage in continuous professional development to remain current with advancements in cardiology practices and research.
• Document patient care activities accurately and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) and a current license to practice as a cardiologist.
• Completion of a residency in internal medicine and fellowship training in cardiology.
• Board certification in Cardiology is essential.
• Significant experience in the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular diseases.
• Strong ability to perform and interpret cardiovascular diagnostic procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build effective patient relationships.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage patient caseloads.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills for complex clinical situations.
• A commitment to high standards of patient care and ongoing professional development.
• Experience in clinical research or academic contributions is an advantage.

Salary is AED 45K TO AED 90K
