Position Overview:
Reporting to Program Management and as an integral part of Questel’s IP Programs Team, this role is responsible to assist the Project Managers in managing the day-to-day relationships and project-related workload of assigned accounts, with a focus to increase client satisfaction with Questel’s products and services.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist project team with all aspects of project management with the goal of becoming fully proficient in core competencies such as resource management, project planning, managing project financials, and project execution
- Collect all relevant project information for the project team required to scope and budget project deliverables
- Assist in coordinating all required project resources, as well as provide support to manage resources during execution
- Assist in coordinating required project deliverables to clients
- Assist project estimating team and initiate approved projects
- Distribute project assignments and information to project team members
- Assist in finding creative operational solutions to complete project outputs within strategic deadlines
- Monitor and mediate the flow of information among team members through effective communication methods and techniques
- Ensure prompt and accurate answers to client queries
- Report on the status of accounts
- Communicate product and pricing details clearly
- Gather information on assigned clients
- Facilitate communication between internal groups, internal functions, and outside suppliers/customers as necessary in support of project execution
- Document and communicate project status, obstacles, risk assessments and resolutions
- Participate in or lead process improvement initiatives as assigned
- Work on special projects and other duties as assigned by management

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required. Professional translation experience or other similar language industry experience preferred. In addition, any combination of education, experience and training which provides the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Superior communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Demonstrated skills in project management, negotiations and problem-solving
- Outstanding planning, scheduling, and coordination skills
- Highly motivated with a willingness to take initiative and complete assignments
- Ability to synthesize data for use in reporting and decision-making environments
- Ability to effectively present ideas, training, and reports to a group which may include clients
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
- Knowledge of patent filing requirements and timelines a plus
- Participate in a culture of responsiveness to strengthen relationships and ensure the needs and time of others are met and respected
- Fluency in English required, fluency in a second language, other than English, a plus
