Position Summary
Sureify is seeking a Senior Program Director to own and lead one of Sureify’s most strategic partnerships with a major life and annuity insurance carrier.
This role requires a leader with strong business acumen, executive presence, and the ability to build credibility with senior business and technology leaders within a large insurance organization. The individual in this role will act as a trusted advisor to the client, guiding strategic conversations and ensuring the partnership delivers meaningful business value.
The ideal candidate understands how life and annuity carriers operate, is comfortable navigating complex stakeholder environments, and can engage in direct, candid conversations with senior executives when needed. This role requires someone who can balance strong client advocacy with thoughtful pushback—ensuring alignment between the client’s goals and Sureify’s product strategy and delivery capabilities.
This role is dedicated to a single strategic client partnership and requires deep engagement with senior leaders across the client organization to drive long-term success and impact. The individual in this role will regularly engage with senior business and technology executives, influencing strategic decisions and navigating the complexities that come with large enterprise partnerships.
This leader will be accountable for the overall success and long-term growth of the partnership, ensuring the client realizes measurable business value from Sureify’s platform while strengthening Sureify’s strategic position within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Client Leadership: Serve as the senior relationship leader for one of Sureify’s largest life and annuity insurance carrier clients, building trusted partnerships with executive stakeholders across the organization.
- Executive Engagement: Develop strong relationships with senior business and technology leaders, serving as a trusted advisor who can guide strategic discussions, influence decision-making, and represent Sureify at the executive level.
- Business Alignment: Develop a deep understanding of the client’s insurance business model, distribution strategy, and operational priorities, ensuring Sureify’s platform aligns with the client’s strategic goals and delivers measurable business impact.
- Enterprise Stakeholder Navigation: Navigate complex organizational structures within the client environment, effectively engaging stakeholders across business, technology, operations, and distribution functions.
- Constructive Client Challenge: Provide candid and constructive guidance when necessary, appropriately pushing back on assumptions or approaches to ensure successful outcomes for both the client and Sureify.
- Partnership Management: Lead the overall health and success of the strategic partnership, proactively managing risks, expectations, and evolving priorities common in large enterprise engagements.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer teams to ensure alignment between the client’s priorities and Sureify’s platform capabilities and roadmap.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor team members supporting the engagement, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and client-centric thinking.
- Executive Communication: Lead strategic conversations regarding program progress, opportunities, and challenges while clearly communicating complex topics to both business and technical audiences.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience working with life and/or annuity insurance carriers in consulting, SaaS, InsurTech, or financial services.
- Demonstrated business acumen and executive presence, with the ability to build credibility with senior leaders.
- Proven experience managing large, complex enterprise partnerships.
- Experience engaging directly with senior business and technology executives within large organizations.
- Ability to constructively challenge and push back with client stakeholders when necessary to drive successful outcomes.
- Strong understanding of how life and annuity insurance carriers operate, including navigating multi-layered stakeholder environments.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influence skills.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across product, engineering, and delivery organizations.
- Ability to translate technical solutions into clear business value.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
- Ability to travel to the client approximately 20% of the time.

Base annual salary
$200,000—$235,000 USD
